Dr. Sheila Stallings is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical practice experience. She attended Howard University and received BS degree in Chemical Engineering. She later attended East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina and completed a residency training in Family Medicine at McLeod Family Medicine Center in Florence, South Carolina.

A native of North Carolina, she returned to her home state and joined Cornerstone Health in 2002. Dr. Stallings served the community by providing primary care to her patients as well as participated in community outreach health programs in the Piedmont Triad Area.

Dr. Stallings joined Blue Cross North Carolina as a medical director in November 2016. She has supported the appeals team for the last 5 years and currently serves as a team lead medical director for the Commercial Markets. Dr. Stallings has served as Chair of the CarePath Medical Council since 2020. She continues to show her passion in the community by participating in outreach initiatives to help improve healthcare disparities. Time outside of the workplace, Dr. Stallings enjoys family time with her husband and two sons. Special interests include travel, photography, and Zumba.
