Is there a cost to attend the Health Care Symposium?

No, there is no cost to register to attend and Blue Cross NC covers the cost of your hotel room at our event host hotel, arriving Monday, April 28, departing Wednesday, April 30. Meals and snacks will be provided throughout the program in an effort to cater to everyone’s dietary restrictions and health interests.

Is transportation provided or covered?

The cost of your travel to and from the symposium is yours or your employer’s responsibility. Travel that is required for any off-site activities is provided by Blue Cross NC.

Do I need to contact The Omni Grove Park Inn to reserve my hotel room or share specific room requirements?

No, the Blue Cross NC Enterprise Events Team will confirm your room reservation as part of our contracted room block. Please DO NOT contact the hotel directly regarding your reservation. If you have specific requests, please email our team to make sure that they are addressed: events@bcbsnc.com.

May I extend my stay at The Omni Grove Park Inn by arriving prior to the symposium or staying after?

Yes, you are welcome to send your request for an extended reservation by emailing our Enterprise Events Team. Room availability and pricing are based upon availability, and we will be in touch to let you know the cost and availability for your consent. Any additional nights outside of the conference will be your responsibility for payment.

Is parking available?

Yes, on-site parking is available and self-parking is covered through the symposium. If you prefer or require to utilize valet parking, the cost is $40++ per night.

When is check-in and check-out?

The resort check-in time is 4:00 pm, and you will be able to check into your room earlier based upon availability. We cannot make any guarantees for earlier check-in on Monday, April 28, but invite you to arrive early and check your luggage with the bell staff and join us for registration, refreshments, and explore the property while you wait for your room.

Check-out time is 11:00 am, and our event will conclude around 12:30 pm on Wednesday, April 30. We will provide an area for you to store your luggage during the morning sessions. Late check-out requests will be based upon availability with the hotel and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
