Senior Vice President, Diversified Business Group

As head of its diversified business group, Sonny Goyal is responsible for guiding the company to achieve sustainable long-term growth. Before joining Blue Cross NC, Sonny was Executive Director for the Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC. Prior to that, he led Mergers & Acquisitions for Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Sonny received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and earned his MBA from the UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
